It’s very normal to feel nervous, or unsure about your first session with a psychologist or a coach. Jess will provide a non-judgmental, private, and safe place for you to discuss whatever you feel comfortable talking about. Prior to your first session it can be helpful for you to consider what improvements you would like to make in your life to be able to function and perform optimally. The aim of the sessions is to work with Jess to achieve those changes to move towards a thriving and flourishing life.
Within the intake forms and first session, Jess will typically ask you questions about yourself, your life, your goals and any obstacles you would like to overcome to reach those goals. Together, you will collaboratively reverse engineer a plan of how to get to your goals, overcome any hurdles, discuss how many sessions it may take, and how frequently sessions should be scheduled.

Each individual session is 50 minutes in length, however the number of sessions needed will depend on your situation. This can be influenced by many factors including the obstacles you are seeking help with, the coping strategies you already use, your support network, the type and number of goals you have and the amount of self-development work you have engaged in previously.
Following the completion of intake forms and the first session, Jess will discuss with you what she thinks will be an appropriate amount of sessions. That way you can collaboratively set realistic goals and work towards them each session.

Alternatively, if you have private health insurance that includes psychological services as an extras cover, you may be eligible for a partial rebate on the cost of your appointment.

A flow coach will explain to you what flow is, help you to discover how you can experience more of it in your life through increasing the circumstances and activities that induce flow.
Flow is an intention of coaching; you would go to a flow coach because you want to be the best version of yourself.
A flow coach will ask you questions regarding when you have been in flow, which will also illuminate any distractions or barriers to getting into and keeping you in that state. Then the coach will help you to reverse engineer a blueprint of getting you from A to B to help you to transform your life to function and perform optimally.
Typically, performance-orientated individuals enjoy setting flow as the intention of coaching because they are motivated to self-improve and be their best. However, everyone deserves to experience that space of internal harmony, and be provided with the tools to proactively create it in their lives.

Unfortunately, there are no rebates for coaching sessions with Jess.
